Toxic mold displaces family:
Alice Burns, a hearing-impaired woman raising 2 teens (one of whom is also hearing-impaired) lives in a house that has been tested and diagnosed with toxic mold. she has no homeowners insurance because she could never afford it. Mold Medic services donated their services and has enlisted others to help clean the house.. Confirmed so far are a carpet installer, kitchen remodeling company, tile company and caterer to feed workers/volunteers. Still needed: sheet rock, paint, bathroom vanities and a local hotel/motel to put the family up during the remediation process
